Pheasant season opened this week. Unfortunately, we had a ton of rain this weekend which made the fields pretty sloppy. Once the out-of-staters do their thing, I plan to get out and shoot me some ditch parrot.

Manly-Man River Excursion
March 22, 2007 — Mark HendersonWe’re only weeks away from the 3rd Annual Manly-Man River Excursion. This year’s trip is once again planned during Memorial Day weekend. The first two years were spent in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, in southern Missouri. This year, since my family has relocated to South Dakota (hence the blog name), we’re looking at other options in the upper Midwest. Please leave a comment if you’ve got any suggestions!
